WHY DO WE NEED TO STUDY MORE TO IMRPOVE OUR AMAL?

 

My part in this poster is to explain one of the reason why we need to study more to improve our amal which is being grateful for the blessing of Allah. As we know that the creation of human being with intellect is one of the greatest signs of the Almighty Allah SWT and a blessing towards mankind which mainly used to learn and understand knowledge for our goods. Basically when we study, we eventually used our 'aql (intellect) to learn or understand something. The Quran says: "But none will grasp the message except the man with intellect" (2:269). Therefore, in this verse Allah explained that our intellect is important for us to realize the message of Allah through thinking, learning and understanding. Thus, when we study more, we can learn more about the message or signs of Allah which have been revealed through Al-Quran. At the same time it lead us to realization and motivate ourselves improved our amal in many aspects of life. For example, Muslim scholars like Al-Khawarizmi successfully managed to utilize his intellect which improved his amal as well. As we know, Al-Khawarizmi is a father of algebra. During his time, the development of algebra managed to solve various Muslims daily life problems that involved with calculations. So, he succeed to manifest his knowledge into amal which benefits not only for himself but humans over the world up until now. Hence, that's why we need to study more to improve our amal :)
